Pre-Work Session Mixer 2-26-19

Come Mix & Mingle at Clarkston's February 26th City Council Pre-Work Session Mixer

On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, from 6:00PM – 7:00PM, at Clarkston City Hall, 3921 Church Street, Clarkston, GA 30021, Clarkston residents, City Council Work Session Stakeholders and the public at-large are invited to mix and mingle with Clarkston’s Mayor and City Council members, City of Clarkston Administrative Staff, civic decision makers, community influencers and Special Guest(s) of Honor, before the regularly scheduled 7:00 p.m. Clarkston City Council Work Session.

In keeping with some of the month of February’s themes, Black History Month and Heart Smart Healthcare, our Special Guests of Honor are: Dr. Heval Kelli, Cardiologist, Emory University School of Medicine, and, Johnny Waits, Jr., DeKalb County Historian, Founder & President, Flat Rock Archives.

The City of Clarkston hosts these monthly Mixers to give Clarkston residents, the public and Work Session agenda stakeholders an informal setting to engage with City of Clarkston decision makers. Topics for these discussions can range from Work Session agenda items to neighborhood and community issues, public safety concerns and to increasing programs, projects and City services awareness. Mixers are another forum in which the City will continue to provide opportunities for civic and community engagement.
